Well I know that it's wrong, but I just wanted to see what everybody else thinks. My best friend and his girlfriend broke up, I'm not exactly sure who did it first they both have different stories. But it seems that he has left her for another girl that he says is just "a friend". But I like his ex girlfriend I don't really want to go out with her I kinda want to hang out with her more though, I'm not really sure why.

This is also a Girl Code, you just don't do it. Ever. It's fine to hang out or whatever, but do not try to get with her. You will probably lose your friend and the girl at the same time. It's really not worth it and I'd suggest respecting the friend and following the code. Speaking as someone who did do that to a friend, it's really not the right thing to do, it'll lead to more trouble than it's worth, honestly.
