A friends friend has a crush on me. I've met her plenty of times. Very nice person but i don't know her that well (i only know her name):(.I didn't think of dating her. One of her friends asked If I thought of her as cute. I don't go by looks when dating a girl ( I go by personality) but it looked like she was obice.If I say yes she'll be the happiest girl ever and I won't be happy.But if I say no her heart will be crushed and I'll feel like shit. I know the point of dating is to find your soul mate but what should I do? I barely know her.:(:(:( I need help.

You should let her know that you don't know her that well. If you don't particularly want to go out with her at all, let her know subtly or something. If you think that if you get to know her more you might actually like her, just tell her that it'll be nice to get to know her anyway. I don't think it is a good idea if you don't actually like her. She will surely realise and it will make her more upset than if you'd said no to her in the first place. In the long run, it would be kinder not to start dating her.

Hey man, as stated before, if you do not like her, then you do not date her, that should really be the end of it, if not you might end up leading her on and being even more crushing afterwards. Remember a "we can still stay as friends" can keep things better though.

It will hurt her more if you went and started dating with no interest and just delaying something. Don't get in it if you are not committed. That applies to most things actually. Just take a moment, step back and look at things from a non biased view.
