Depression meds?

Hi everyone. I've had depression, anxiety, and OCD for several years, but I've made the decision to try meds for them. My psychiatrist has prescribed me Lexapro, and I'm just not quite sure what to expect. Can anyone give advice or experience with this medication or similar ones? Thanks!

I took it for awhile. The results really depends on the person.

I agree that it depends on the person, but for me it doesn't work. I've been taking it for about two months and I only feel worse.
I have another antidepressive but it just doesn't work for me..

I realize that the results vary. I've just never been on antidepressants before, so I wasn't sure exactly how they work.

i was given some different pills, so i don't know how yours work, but they vary from person to person and there might be a chance that they won't work as they should, hence you're under 25
