So I joined a dating app, how is everyone else's experience with those things?
Any crazy stories? Any good/bad news stories?
Does anyone have any advice?

I've not heard anything back yet, from anyone, at all. But here's hoping :)

Eh, I've not had a great experience. Nothing horrifically bad... just a lot of horny people wanting nothing but a quick hook-up. Just try to get to know someone a lot before meeting up, it'd be best if you could get their snapchat or skype or something so you can make sure that they're definitely legit before risking meeting up with them and ALWAYS meet up in a public place.

Yeah. I was on one in the past. 90 percent of them just wanted hookups which aren't my thing. There were a few out there that actually wanted me to date them but they weren't my type. I finally deactivated my account after my ex kept creating new profiles and harassing me on there.

I never used a dating site, and wouldn't tbh. Mainly because of the fear of being catfished.

I've not even bothered putting my photo up, I know I won't get many hits without people seeing my face but I just don't want people I know to see me on there.

I once met a girl on there who was a full blown psychopath and ended up finding out where I lived (don't even ask me how that happened). She knocked on my door one afternoon and that was the final straw, I stopped talking to her, somehow convinced my mum to move houses, and never saw her again. Pretty crazy.

I have been using Tinder for a while. It depends on your personality, your bio and what you talk about when you match.
I have seen recently alot of girls put things like here for the long term not a quick hook etc. that kind of shit.
I think at first Tinder was for quick hook ups (still is) but I think its slowly evolved into a proper dating app.
I have met about 3 people off Tinder. One of the girls I am good friends with. She didnt want to date or a quick hook up. she was a traveler and wanted to meet fun people. I got out of a relationship and having someone new to talk to was important to me.
