View Full Version : Does my ex still like me?

My ex and I dated for seven months and broke up. Less than a week later she started to date another guy. They started dating two weeks ago, but I stopped seeing them together and now I never see them together and they don't talk. She got on the bus today and I saw him walking a minute later and he looked upset or pissed. Today on the bus she poked me from behind and pretended it wasn't her (flirtatious I think?) and I turned around jokingly saying who did that smiling and looking at her (we said we wanted to be friends when we broke up). I turned back around and it happened again (this time it was her friend) and I turned around again smiling and looking at her and I said I knew it was her friend and her friend said the first one was her (my ex), this time it was me. I really really have strong feelings for her. We usually smiled at each other around school after we broke up and she started dating that other guy. I don't know if it was a rebound relationship and she still likes me and was just confused? Should I message her just saying hi? We haven't messaged at all but only had small conversations on the bus and afterschool. Thanks!

I would take it slow...

Why did you guys break up? That might help me answer this better

...or maybe she was just trying to be friendly and funny. Honestly you're trying to see something that isn't there.

:/ getting back with exs who've been away dating others. Heck, even getting back with exs... This whole 'lets just be friends' only works too if the breakup is on equal terms with no feelings left. Otherwise you need to block her from your life to stand a chance of moving on. How can you move on when she's talking to you daily like before?

And if she left you for another guy and/or dated someone else so quickly... Doesn't sound like she knows who or what she wants, but doesn't particular fuss about who gets hurt as collatoral damage along the way.
