A month and a half ago I would've told you that this is just Republican BS, but now I'm not as sure. What do you all think?

What happened? (I don't know, and am mostly not listening to the whole campaign.)

Would be bad for some prosecutor's career if she gets elected. So, my prediction........no.

I would say vice versa: the journalists who took down Nixon became celebrities.

She compromised classified documents by using a private email server and her foundation may have taken bribes. Her being who she is, I believe both charges.

I'll be really surprised if she isn't. My extended family is all over the political map, but they've all said she's evil, and I feel the same.

I think she won't be. If it hasn't happened by now, it won't. The talk has really fizzled out from what I've seen(then again we are all rallying to stop trump, we'll worry about Clinton later). Too many people support her. Also, the DNC,basically chose her to win. I would like to see it happen but, I think it won't.

The FBI have just received the final emails, and they are not partisan. This isn't a house committee. This is the FBI. Her political situation means nothing to them. These are the chaps who nailed Nixon.

if the Obama administration isn't planning to cover for her and let her off the hook, I'd say yes. granted I don't know exactly how much power the White House has over these proceedings, but I can totally see Obama pardoning her as one of his final acts in office.

what gets me is how easy it would've been for Clinton (having been connected to power for so long) to find someone competent and qualified enough to run her server as a sort of in-house IT staff, pay them a phat salary and then all this would've never come to light. but by all accounts Hillary is inept beyond belief - working for her must be a nightmarish experience no matter the pay - she's basically the Leona Helmsley (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leona_Helmsley) of D.C.

Once the FBI recommends indictment, there is seriously no way the current administration can ignore that without implicitly acknowledging her guilt. It'd be game over for her election campaign.

from the other thread:

Ah, and it appears that Hillary is alright with censoring information to her benefit (if my assumption is correct based on the information derived from one of her private emails). The email in question says that Google and YouTube had a "block" put in place (https://archive.is/YWJ51), and curiously enough, whatever content they were blocking happened to be blocked after the attacks at Benghazi. Oh, and let's not overlook her discussing our nuclear weapons budget (https://foia.state.gov/searchapp/DOCUMENTS/HRCEmail_Feb26thWeb/O-2015-08641FEB26/DOC_0C05797868/C05797868.pdf), or information regarding current US operations in Syria (https://foia.state.gov/searchapp/DOCUMENTS/HRCEmail_Feb26thWeb/O-2015-08638FEB26/DOC_0C05791788/C05791788.pdf) (2) (https://foia.state.gov/searchapp/DOCUMENTS/HRCEmail_Feb26thWeb/O-2015-08640FEB26/DOC_0C05794753/C05794753.pdf), through insecure networks. Top notch secretarial work, Madame Secretary.

top fucking kek, with the nuclear dox they had to REDACT THE WHOLE THING. now that's a cock-up if I ever saw one

looks like Bernie might get his chance after all

Wouldn't surprise me - thanks for the info.

I'd like to believe so, but I really doubt that Lynch would indict, even if the FBI recommended it.

I doubt she will be...
Boohoo
Hillary used a unsecure server to hold confidential emails

It's pretty convenient for the Republicans that this is all just coming to a head now...
Too convenient...
Even if she does go to prison, sanders polls better against any of the gop candidates in a general election anyway

Well, yeah, it doesn't seem like a big deal when you're mocking the investigation process because we're scoring through her emails (not her emails mind you, the State Department's). However you wish to see it, it is a huge deal.

She's compromised her staff's safety more than once by disclosing their whereabouts on an insecure server. She's discussed our nuclear budget on an insecure server. Some documents that were shared on the insecure server were deemed so sensitive that they've been redacted from the public. I've linked these all above and there are likely more incriminating emails that lend credence to her ineptitude, incompetence, and recklessness.

All this investigation does is prove she cannot maintain a single department (email scandal, four dead at Benghazi) let alone the entitety nation. Hillary Clinton is a dishonest, lecherous human being who is undeserving of our highest public office.

It's pretty convenient for the Republicans that this is all just coming to a head now...
Too convenient...

Too convenient like they set her up?

Hillary Clinton's negligence has landed her in the position she is in today. She is the only one at fault for her actions for she is the only one responsible for her actions.

Even if she does go to prison, sanders polls better against any of the gop candidates in a general election anyway

She should go to prison and Sanders should win the nomination. But everything that should happen, doesn't always happen.

I think she should be, but will she? it is hard to say. It has taken a lot longer than it should have which would lead me to say no. but who knows

She should be, and now that her secretary(?) just got immunity it seems even more likely it will happen

It appears the Department of Justice is unwilling to prosecute her if the FBI suggests it. It's stated they are not required to do so by law.
