What exactly counts as a 'hot thread' - is it based on views, replies?

Then how come in my diary (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=535) my guest book has 102 views and is still standard?

Hot threads must have more than 16 replies or 120 views, I believe.

This is correct. 16+ replies or 120+ views is the threshold for a 'hot thread'.
