Talk About the Future?

So my boyfriend wants to have a talk about the future of our relationship... We just recently had a fight but it's also that he wants to have this talk when we're out at dinner together for Valentine's Day... He said he won't be breaking up with me but I am so lost. What else could a guy be talking about? It definitely isn't a proposal cause we're freshmen and we have already said ily so I'm clueless. Any experiences with something like this?

I've never had an experience but maybe he just wants to talk about, really, "the future' like how you guys are going to meet up when you leave school and if you guys will move in together and things like that. I'm not really sure about it because I've never been in the situation but just don't fret and make a big deal of it, act like yourself and it should go nice and smoothly.
