I asked my mom if my gf could spend the night if it was okay with her rents when my half brother wasn't in town (we share a bedroom) and she said no and I asked when and she said when you're older. And when I asked how old she just said older.
Okay, I'll accept that except my sister gets to have her bff over for overnights and they have sex and mom knows. She calls it "girly stuff" and like that's okay but she won't let my gf stay the night with me. What's the difference and can I do anything to change her mind?

The difference is risk of pregnancy and the legal and monetary costs that go along with that.

I'd say the difference is she's being a proper parent to you, but not to your sister.
It's a naivety and ignorance to equate sex to purely physical, and your sister is too young to emotionally deal with it - boy or girl. Terrible idea.
For yourself, most 15 yr olds aren't having sex. You're too young and presumably not financially capable or ready for the responsibility of a baby ( Texas = no abortion right? ).
Besides all that, do you really want your mum giving you a time and date for her allowing you to have sex?
Kids ask there parents for permission to go out, have parties, get a phone contract - is there really a proportion of our generation that asks thier parents for sex? :/ This confuses me... Even if my situation were normal, I'm adult enough to want to keep my love life private, especially from them. I'd be mortified!

that's really weird. do you mean your sister's bf or bff? a girl or boy? i guess your mum may feel a bit safer with two girls messing around....
