Pancake toppings

Slightly belated :), but I was wondering what toppings people have/had on their pancakes, and whether you prefer the 'large circular' crepe style pancakes or the pancake stacks.

I usually have maple syrup with bacon on top, on a pancake stack.

Depends on what I have, usually bacon and I put maple syrup on the side, but I like it with fruit too

When I feel like putting in effort, I add chocolate chips and banana to the batter then top my pancakes off with strawberries, nutella, and whip cream.

Stacks are too thick for me though, I like to eat pancakes individually.

My favorite pancakes are blueberry. I like putting honey as a topping. If not honey is available then I like maple syrup.

It is baloney wedges in pancake dough.

We usually make crepe style pancakes in the UK and I usually have lemon and sugar on them. When we go all out on the thick American style pancakes though i have maple syrup, double cream, strawberries and bacon. Fucking diabetes tastes good.

I don't really put anything on my pancakes...I feel like it takes away from the pancakes. However, when I was little I loved strawberry syrup but overtime began to realize how sweet and sugary things were and moved away from them :(
