Starting Shaving Pubic Area

Hey Guys,
I have been wanting to shave my pubic area for a while, mostly shaving my balls and penis hair. My question is I am able to drive by myself and will be going to the store today but what do i get? I shave my face with an electric razor so I have no manual razor knowledge. What is the best razor for the job? what else should i get? shaving cream, after shave? What brands?

I use regular shaving cream and razor for my balls. So no big deal.
After shave :D: I will never use it again down there :crazy:

Scissors to bring down the bush. 2 blade razors. You don't want to cut yourself there. Regular shaving cream will do

I agree with Francisco. You could even use your electric razor to trim it first if you feel confident enough.

I use a Gilette Contour. Same as I use for my face.
It does its job and is fairly inexpensive.

Any 2 balde razor will do and an shaving cream will do ( i used to use the aloe kind), but whatever you do, DO NOT use aftershave on your junk, itll burn. If you want to use anything after you shave use mineral oil or baby oil to prevent itching.

i have so little pubic hair i just use a disposable razor when i shower. do it every other day so no stubble or itching, stays very smooth

I'm in the same boat as everyone else. A simple 2 blade razor and some shaving cream should be enough for you. It works for me just fine. I don't full shave but I trim and shave things down to look nice

I have to ask why you want to shave something that has taken 15 or so years to develop hay man I say enjoy it at the moment the bush will never feel so soft again

Just use an electric beard trimmer with guards to trim down the bush and just use any razor to.shave all the way down be careful and go slow you don't want to get cut down their

If you really want to shave it all, use razors, like other have said. If you just want to trim, use an electric beard trimmer. Either way, I'd recommend you to take a hot shower afterwards, to clean the skin pores. You might want to apply some hydratant cream if it burns a lot, and you should also use more loosen underwear during the next weeks, like boxer shorts, because tight underwear can feel quite uncomfortable, as it can pull out growing hair.

Hi, to answer your question my post was more on the intent of shaving my balls because i feel it looks unattractive. i was not planning on shaving my bush. i agree with you and having a bush does make you look more manly. i just trim it so it isnt a mess.

Use one with cartridges as they are often higher quality, and so sharper.

Use the Gillette Body if you can. That way you can sue them if you get cut, :P Kidding. (Other razor brands may say: "we never intended it to be used down there!")
