Letters to a Cousin in Prison

I'm not sure where this is supposed to go but yea. I live in the UK, Birmingham. My cousins been behind bars for a while now and last week was my birthday i wanted to send him a picture from the day i'm not sure if I'm allowed to do that or what.. Iv had a lot of family inside but never bothered with them so yea it would be much appreciated if you could let me know, thanks. I cant go see him either cause i have work on the weekdays i come home at 7 plus hes in Wolverhampton

I'm sure there is a place online where you can check the rules regarding contacting prisoners. I'm sure he would be more than happy to receive a letter :) It's a nice gesture
