Love to snuggle with my brothers.

So I'm a big smuggler! I've always hated to sleep alone and I've always been scared of rain storms. Ever since I was little I would go to bed in my room but I always wake up with somebody else like one of my brothers. We are very close family in even when we're home in the TV room watching a movie I'm always snuggling with somebody I know it may sound weird but does anybody else feel a connection like that to their family. I'm just glad they're pretty laid back about it and they don't mind me snuggling up to them. Let me know what you think. I've never shared this with anybody.

I think it is okay as long as it doesn't become inappropriate. I'm not in the situation so, I wouldn't know where to draw the line. I understand having a close family and the importance of it. I think everything sounds fine.

It sounds lovely though to have family you trust and can be that comfortable with. Would you be even asking this if they were your sisters? Everyone loves snuggles.

That would explain it. With that piece of information at hand, this makes sense, and even if this wasn't true, I have friends who have heightened demands for cuddle comforts, to bolster a sense of security.

Usually this behavior I've noticed is attached to a grandparent or parent, or trusted older sibling who you feel safe with.

Certainly I've seen or heard about couples who mutually depend on cuddles too, even in a non-sexual sense, just for the sake of companionship.

That's so sweet. Well my dad and brothers are super tall and have big beds. I still sneak in there. Plus I'm always cold and they are warm. So far it works out. :-) plus our dad got huge sofas for you tv room. Helps with movie night.

I don't think that there is anything wrong with being very close to your sibs. Most of the time we fight and have arguments with our siblings and a little more closeness would help in a family situation. Fortunately I am close with my sibs, although, occasionally, we do have our arguments over things. But we always make up and everything is fine after that.

Yes we are very close. They still wrestle with them my but I'm so tiny I always lose. Lol but it's fun!! :-)

I am sure that is part of it, it drew you closer together. I think it is ok, as long as it does not get inappropriate. snuggling does not have to be romantic. just make sure you don't go in that direction haha

Haha thanks!! My brothers are to silly and goofy to be romantic. A few have gfs that they have sex with but funny they say they don't snuggle with them much.

My brother and sister (technically half-brother/sister) didn't live with me when I was growing up, so I only saw them on weekends. We never 'snuggled' or anything, but we loved being around eachother. It's actually quite nice to hear about a loving family for once, and not one constantly arguing.

Me and my older sister still cuddle up and share a blanket when we have like a movie night and its just the family. We use to sleep in the same bed when we were little and shared a room but not so much anymore. When we go on vacations and get a normal hotel room or staying in a guest room together we still share a bed, different blankets though lol.

my brother is scared of storms too, he's 13 and will get in bed with me when we have one. i like snuggling with him, he says he feels safer with me which makes me feel good that i can comfort him. we will watch tv that way and will fall asleep together a couple nights a week.

I don't think there is anything wrong with snuggling. I have a little and big brother and sister and we snuggle and always have. I think it helps us stay like a close family and even if were not snuggling we have our legs draped over each other on the sofa or things like that. My sister and me share a room so sometimes we sleep in the same bed or wake up in each others bed.
