Eh, another poem I've written. I haven't thought of a title yet.
Playing with fire,
Dancing with lions,
The adrenaline rushes through me
As she walks near.
Swimming with sharks,
Walking alone at night,
I can smell her perfume
reach through the air.
Looking off buildings,
Running in subways,
I can't belief how close she is.
Running red lights,
Blowing through stop signs,
I feel the excitement of a queen walking within proximity.
I'll stick my hand out
As if grabbing for rain,
But by that time she has left.
She's just a normal woman.
But to me, she's a celebrity.
I've shaken hands with singers, athletes and politicians.
None have ever known a more beautiful presence.
As always, feedback is appreciated.
