Ok so I was a member of this other site, and I met this girl. This site was basically made for helping with depression among other issues and well I don't know we just kind of clicked for some reason. Now I don't really express my emotions that well and im not particularly adept at showing much empathy or compassion towards people. She wanted me to add her on skype, so I did, but when I added her I didn't have any like ulterior motives I guess like I thought it was just more convenient.

It has been like a month now since I added her, and we have gotten really close, we both talk about things we would probably never tell anyone else, and I find it super easy to relate and be myself around her. The problem is I don't know what we are, I mean when it started it was alot of hearts between us in messages and then it grew to I love yous, and now its basically at the point of good morning good night messages and skyping all day, watching movies on this website, and she also says she always worries about me whether it be not enough sleep or if ive had a shit day yknow the works. I don't like long distance relationships and I didn't really set out for one but there's something about this girl. I am probably getting my signals mixed up too be honest. I just wanted to know what you guys thought.

I promise have a longer and hopefully more helpful response but, I must ask one quick question first? Do you guys still say, "I love you" and send hearts in text messages?

Yeah all the time ;o she literally just messaged me with both a heart and an ily :/ like all the time pretty much, and she usually messages me before I message her because she wakes up earlier and its just ugh idk it seems like were already together but at the same time we arent actually together yknow? and I don't wanna bring this up because of the long distance, I mean we are both pretty old im almost 18 and shes almost 17, so its not like its super impractical to meet yknow? maybe im just wishful thinking

She does care a great deal about you, that much is certain. You should take the initiative and ask her how she feels about you. Or if she wants to be in a relationship right now. The hearts and other gestures were a sign, but now it is time to follow up or you will be left wondering what was and what will be.

Be aware that if this has been a total online only relationship, beware of catfishing scams and predators.

Okay, good. As far as the sexual predator thing, it didn't even cross my mind because you mentioned you all Skype. I don't see how to fake a Skype. However, she could be younger that's she says so be aware of that. All precautions aside, you should suggest meeting her. It seems as if you are already together. At this age, meeting each other shouldn't be a problem. Just say, "I'd really like to see you soon."
