have you tried multiple different lip balms? If so and no results, talk to a doctor about it.

So why have you gone 8 years without ever seeing a doctor and mentioning it to him/her?

its just a burden to smell like vaseline since i just started highschool i just never knew what to ask for i guess

My advice would be to bring it up with a doctor next time, tell him exactly what you wrote in the OP. I'm sure it's perfectly treatable and won't be much hassle :)
