I don't like AA even though I'm not full white. I think it will only be needed for maybe one more generation. But I do think that we should instead improve the standard of living for minorities, especially natives. AA isn't a long term answer though.

I am tired of hearing how horrible white cisgender males are. Black lives matter has become a racist, white hating group. Feminists (extreme, new wave feminism) is ostrisizing and attacking men. Christians are mocked and hated because their beliefs are not valued by many people. White people can be discriminated against too and there is such a hatred for them from not all, but some progressives. That being said, demographically, minorities have higher tendencies to cone from low in come backgrounds. With Judeo-Christian values, we should help those who are less fortunate. Opportunities should be provided to help all impoverished people. Caucasians can come from low income households too. Certain things like financial aid and affirmative action provide opportunities for those inflicted with the injustice of poverty. It's not about color of skin, but making chances equal. Affirmative action isn't racism, but serves a great purpose. Im a republican, haha please don't hate me, who supports affirmative action because I believe it's right.

Also, reverse racism is not existent. It's just racism. Racism is a feeling of hatred or superiority towards another racial group. When one condemns all white people for having privilege, they demonstrate racism as they single out a group. In fact many white peoples are just middle class citizens trying to get by. Know one choose to be born rich, poor, in Sweden, in Zimbabwe, in a loving household or a abusive household. These are things we cannot change. You can't call out someone for something they were born into. It becomes racist to attack white people for being white.

I am a moderately conservative, Christian, cis, straight, male. I'm 96% Mexican. My race has nothing to do with me because if you knew me you'd categorize me as just another white privileged asshole. I guess I am privileged although I like to view myself as thankful for what I've been given.

These things being said, I never would judge anyone for being different then me. I have more friends that are liberal than conservative. I love all the atheists I know and don't rub my religion off on them. They respect me and I respect them. I do not judge anyone who is LGBTQIA. As a straight male, I am enamored with women and certainly do not feel any resentment. I'm not oppressing anyone. I think this privilege idea is very weird. By no means am I a racist or sexist or oppressive person. I a compassionate, loving, respectful, kind person. MY family came from Hungary very poor in the 1920s to America for a better life. As a roman catholic and gypsy family mixed they received severe discrimination. It took them a whole century to get into the middle class. That is unheard of. Economically I am first generation priviliged. Socially I am probably 2nd generation privilege although I still get made fun of for my last name (something I can't change. something I am very proud of!) . I guess this whole idea of privilege feels very demeaning. I would never accuse someone if I never walked a mile in their shoes. Politically I am tied down by no parties! While my ancestors coming to America were liberal, I refuse to be marked by any political party. I am a proud male. I still believe in chivalry, not just towards women but to all genders, being rude only pertains to assholes. I work hard for my money, grades and most defiantly I put grind time in the weight room. Being born at 1 pound 12 ounces I survived the odds. And knowing many people who have already died at young ages, my life will not be wasted. People will remember me as hard working and respectful. Never a person to jump to conclusions and pre-labeling people. I have strong personal beliefs. You guys can too. To be honest, I outwork guys with greater genetics its grit and hard work. Am I privileged yes, are there people with different races, socio-economic status, gender, sexuality, ethnicity who might have more privilege than me most defiantly. But I'm trying to get at is, don't assume everyone has a predetermined "Privilege". Im no expert on this because i am just 17, but I just think people should open their eyes to this double sided argument.
