How important is being clean when having sex? Not just down there (genitalia), but for the whole body. Do you make sure you are clean for your partner and do you make sure they are clean for you? (Showering, etc)

After sex or masturbation, do you do anything in particular to clean up?

After masturbating, there's nothing I really do except for clean up the mess. But when I have sex, I usually jump in the shower for a minute just to clean myself up, it's not really a "cleanliness" thing to me though.

In terms of masturbation, I don't really clean my entire body, usually just the mess and for sex I would probably have a shower afterwards; not just because of hygiene but I'd probably be sweaty after it I guess.

Cleanliness for sex is a priority for me and has been for most of my partners. I always make sure I am clean inside and out before I have sex with bf and he does the same for me. Usually when we are finished, we shower again.

i always prefer to wash myself before sex. after it i often dont wash immediately because it makes me feels sexy. boys are ok as long as they dont have dirt or something on them. after masturbation, i dont wash, just sit on a towel

Well i clean on a regular basis so when i first had sex it wasn't really a big deal for me. When i touch myself depending on what time i did it ill take a shower right after or wait until morning or something.

Obviously it's best for both people to be clean if you're gonna go down on each other, but it's not always possible if you're doing something in a car after school or something. Well I'm a clean person anyway so I'm always clean but after sex I don't see the rush to get clean at all. When I have sex I get really sweaty, and yeah I have liquids on my face and on my penis, but that's natural so I don't consider that being dirty.. I will take a shower eventually but I don't see the reason to take one because I had sex

I shower every morning, after sport and any other sweat-inducing activity.
So I guess I am clean at any time of the day. Same is my girl.
That's why we never shower for sex. Mutual shower as a startup - different story :D

I'm generally a clean person but I don't go crazy. Like I don't scrub myself before and after sex/masturbation or cover myself in hand sanitizer. I go by the smell rule, if something/someone smells off then I don't go there. Or if there's visible dirt. But I'm not like, "scrub up" before going down.

I'm one to be clean for sex as well as my partner. I'm so self conscious. I had one bad experience with a guy who when he took off his clothes smelled bad especially his feet. I said no thanks lost interest and left. This is why I want to be clean and expect the same from my partner.
