View Full Version : Girls seem to be talking behind my back?

There are some girls at school that make me feel like they are constantly talking about me behind my back, and I honestly can't tell whether they like me. I have a fairly pun and complex joke based sense of humor, and tell a lot of short jokes and puns. This talking usually happens after that. I also went to a school dance, and had fun dancing, but every time I looked around, there was a huddle of girls looking at me and talking and quietly laughing (it was a very loud dance).
Do the like me?
Do they think I am an ass?
Do they think I am stupid?
Do they care?
Girls, I would love your opinion, especially if you view yourself as someone with a lot of social or sporty friends!!

Laughing openly or giggling? This is detailed, but also too general. When things like this happen, you have to give every single little painstaking detail. What did their eyebrows look like when they laughed? Their mouths? If they were showing full teeth and eyebrows raised as if they were smiling really happily, it's more likely that it's a good thing. If they were sort of smirking, and their eyebrows raised in an "um, what???" sort of manner, like they're like "wtf are you (insert verb here)", one of them probably told the other and they reacted with a "that's stupid" sort of look, thus they're mocking you.
I'm a bit tired so I'm probably being weirdly long-winded, so forgive me. But remember, details in everything are utmost.

I'd suggest you go up to them. I ain't a girl but many girls like boys who are not over confident and who are a bit shy. If you walk up to them and just engage in normal conversation, they will get to know you more in-depth and then the signs will be obvious if whether they like you or not.

If you were dancing well, or very skillfully then they were probably not making fun of you.
But if there was something you were doing that was bold but unskillfully done it's possible they were making fun.

Have confidence and ask what's so funny. Girls like that.
