In the short relationships I've had, I masturbated less. I guess I wasn't feeling as bored or lonely, idk. We never did anything sexual so it's not like urges were being satisfied. My friends say if they are getting sex they don't j/o because their 'needs' are satisfied.

I haven't been in a serious relationship since I started having sex in any way, but all the answers above basically apply to me as well. I don't get the urges to masturbate more than once a day very often and sometimes I don't get them for days, so when I were to be in a relationship (or just having "casual sex" which does happen) those urges are already satisfied so I don't feel the need to do the job myself
