Does he really wants me as a friend?

Hello guys.
i have this friend who i have been friends with for not a long time.
anyways, everytime he wants to make a decision he asks me for my opinion, or when he talks with girls he asks me what to say etc. Do you think this is a problem for our friendship?
I mean okay he talks things with me that he doesnt talk with anyone else but is this a good sign? Because guys, we have been friends not for a long time and i think that he hangs out with me just because he wants to talk with me about those things. Do you think that that may be possible? Also, lets say that he talks with this girl, he tells me what she has told him and then he asks me to what to tell her and then after a while he tells me to hangout with him to talk about her. Is this a problem guys? I mean he is not using me to give him opinions is he? Thanks...

You are overthinking things. He probably just needs your advice and since your his friend, he asks you.

My follow up questions might be: How many other close friends does he have?

If he has other friends but only asks you for advice, then it could be a problem. (if they are mutual between you both, then its probably okay).

Also, if you are the most mature amongst his friends, he probably has established the most trust with you.

I would say that he hasnt other friends. He only has one friend which he calls his "best friend" but they aree now separated because he changed his town and came to mine. Here he has only 2 friends, me and another guy but the other guy is so immature that only god knows so i think that he thinks that im really mature. Anyways, he doesn't directly tell me come to talk about this girl, he tells me let's go for a walk ans we don't talk about that girl all the time but anyways i don't know what to say... it makes me think that he hangs out with me just because he doesn't have somebody to talk to.

he hasnt someone to talk to and he talks with me for his problems because i can resolve them...
But guys he rarely tells me come to hang out without having a reason for it, that's what makes me think that he just hangs out with me because he only needs my advices...
i will try to create a situation for myself and see if he is going to support me like i do...
Does someone else has other opinions? I'd like to hear them.

Ok guys so today i made up a situation in purpose.
i dont want to get in much detail but he didn't give a shit about what i said.
We hang out as usual and he started talking about his stuff again...
What do i do now? He didn't even mention what i said to him earlier, what do you think?

Guys he has still continued to talk about this girl. I think that she doesnt like him anymore and i think that they wont talk to each other anymore... i will see what he will do after that, will he continue to hangout with me or will he just ignore me... it is left to see...
