There is this girl I have been talking to for a while now, but I haven't really spoken to here in about a month. So last night at 2.30 AM I get a text from her out of the blue asking me if am home. I knew she was at a party and I was too so she was probably drunk ( why else would someone text me that at 2.30?)
I told my friend about it (he knows her aswel) and said it was really creepy. I don't think it is creepy at all.
I am just wondering what your opinion on drunk texts is. I know a lot of people find them annoying or creepy but I think it's funny and a bit cute aswel...

Haha creepy? Nahh, it can be annoying as hell but its not creepy. Honestly I'd go with you and say its cute in the instance. You weren't talking before and she text you out of the blue so she must have been thinking about you. Its a good sign if you like her, plus it let's you initiate a conversation again.

I wouldn't say it was creepy. Being drunk allows a bunch of bottled-up emotions to be let loose. It's the regret that follows drunk texting that is the worst! :P

I agree. This is pretty sound.

I think you are absolutely right. And it did restart the conversation again. I kind of broke contact with her because she could sometimes be really difficult to talk to but we've been talking all day now. Who knows what could happen now...

I've never been fortunate enough to have been on anyone's mind at two in the morning. So I've never received a drunk text, however, I've sent many. I'm sure girls get annoyed with them. If I'm talking to a girl, I'll send paragraphs after they fall asleep and I think it's nice, but there's just this awful presence a drunk texts brings. It's so ugly. Drinking is bad and I think drunk texts are not a good way to communicate. I think it shows that you were deeply on her mind and that aspect is cute. If I received a drunk text, I would not be annoyed but I would feel special.

I have already texted with non drunken girls, I dindn't know, whole nights long. That was never creepy. Often rather exhausting.^^

I see it same way. Unless it doesen't worse in any term, it's just fun.

He hasn't. There is one thing I didn't mention yet though and that is that she is the ex-girlfriend of a really good mutual friend of ours. My friends is not too fond of her to say the least. After our mutual friend and her split up there were a lot of rumors about her as well that set a lot of people up against her
