Whats best is whatever you feel the most comfortable wearing. I go with boxers but many guys prefer the support of boxer briefs or briefs. It's just personal preference

Briefs give you the support, do not bunch up like boxerbriefs, Can wear with tight jeans easily and do not show up when you sit down wearing shorts.....but prevent smbody seeing up my shorts too...

i prefer boxers. i like the feeling of freedom... hate being constricted by clothing. i usually wear shorts all year almost.
