Body hair lighter or darker?

My pubic hair (what there is of it) is lighter than my head hair. My boo says that's normal but it's the first time I heard it was.

My pubes are much darker, pretty much black, while my head hair is dark brown.

I'd say they are the same as my hair. I have dark blonde hair and I highlight it baby blonde. That being said, I also have a ton of baby blonde pubes as well.

If I ever let my pubes grow they would be black ....... I wish they were light colored. If they were I may let them grow

My head hair is a (darkish) brown, but the majority of my body hair is a blonde/brown. Does look a bit darker though because of the comparison with my whiter than white skin.

Definitely darker for me, head hair is brown but my pubes are basically black. I wonder why that is and what purpose it has?
