Here we just call them compression where and they are great when it's cold outside and great for cardio but otherwise I don't always use them.

If they're used to work out in its probably just because of the cold. I mean guys wear longer compression shorts under their looser shorts when playing rugby etc. Its the same thing really. I haven't seen 'meggings' become a common thing where I live but if that's what people are comfortable working out in, let them be. My workout clothes are pretty damn awful so I have no reason to judge.

Meggins ... ??? Those pants I wouldn't wear because just of the name and ... of the fear to become impotent.

They are compression tights or legging we call here in canada. I have worn them running in the winter.

For things like working out I guess they're OK, but I wouldn't wear them. Not a fan of them, but don't judge others for wearing them. I see people wearing them at the gym sometimes.
