Do you all get really graphic dreams? Really realistic dreams about sex or something violent? I had a really intense sexual dream last night with two of my best friends. I woke up sweating and hard as a rock!

I get dreams where I cannot tell the difference between them and real life. I had one a few days ago and the only reason I know it didn't happen is because I asked someone about it and they had no idea what I was going on about.
And yes, occasionally I get ones about sex.

I generally don't remember my dreams, unless they wake me up and even then I soon forget major details quickly. I've also been told I talk in my sleep, so I know that I do dream, but I have no idea what about. I have had a couple of wet dreams, and they weren't entirely about sex, but more leading up to it, and the guys in it were just generic (didn't know who they were). Haven't had one that I know about for about 2 years though.

Sometimes i have very graphic and realistic dreams, so much so that I have wakened up screaming, sweating, and shaking. My sexual dreams arent as graphic, but when I have nightmares they are really intense.

Where some consider to be nightmares, I consider most of my graphic dreams to be, for lack of a better word, cool. I generally remember most of them and am amazed at what my dreams were making mention of. I guess it's the writer in me, but I don't associate what should be nightmares as such. Yes, they can be quite graphic and might depict life-and-death moments, but those are the kind of dreams I love.

In terms of the sexual dreams, I've had my fair share of those. Some were based off of my friends, others from a mesh of imagination from being a werewolf in heat or being pummeled by a dragon. Don't ask, my dreams are always weird. Like I said, it must be the writer in me.

Actually ALL dreams are graphic and detailed - it's just that we can remember some better and more vividly than others. But during the actual dream, at the time. they always feel real. Dreams are awesome though! Somehow they tap into our creativity and subconscious so that a dream is 10 times better than what our minds can conjure up when awake. Absolutely get what you mean. As per some of the other guys, I've had some vivid dreams too, some of them wet and others not. When it happened, I basically only realised what was going on, upon waking up to wet pants and active contractions. Suffice to say, the first few seconds of drowsiness and confusion often went away very quickly.

Was a bit of a nightmare when I was in a shared dormitory in boarding school. Fortunately, these would usually occur way earlier than when most others woke up ~ 5am, so nobody ever found out. Was a bit of a nightmare for my other mates who were caught unawares though, with wet sheets/underwear in the morning. We all had a few laughs about it, but it all passed away quick enough - occurred often enough for us all to inwardly nod in understanding and not make a huge fuss of it. A few very elaborate and detailed dreams discussed every now and then - so you're definitely in good company!

I actually do. I get really intense psychological dreams sometimes. Also violent ones. Just last night I had a terrifying dream about being in a dark and decrepit basement full of malevolent spirits. No joke.
But on a brighter note, I've had some very intense sexual dreams about my (now ex) girlfriend. Those were not even close to being terrifying :)
It happens to most people I suppose.

But as far as waking up sweating and hard as a rock? I've definitely been there. ;)

Yes that happens to me sometimes but I never had a graphic violent dream yet.
