View Full Version : Anxiety while texting/talking

I get anxious when I text people because I frequently don't know how to respond or keep the conversation going, even though I want to keep talking to the person. This often happens in real-life as well, and unless I'm in a group of friends, conversations with people don't usually flow. I think it's because I have too much of a filter, but I feel as if I'm the odd one out and I'm the only one who has this problem. Any suggestions on how to improve my texting/conversation game? :what::P

Haha just be confident and loosed up a little. You do not have to go over board or start cursing or pretend to be someone you are not. Boys, especially, hate when girls just reply with "K," "cool," or "yeah." I pray you are not one of those. But anyway, just try to ask questions. That always keeps the conversation going. You are just shy as all, and it is better to be too careful when texting than to send the wrong thing. :)

Just keep talking and if it is really getting to you just say you are not very good with talking and get anxious.
Its very common to have anxiety while talking one on one with someone but the more you do it the better it gets and its easily understandable.
I had the exact same issue but it got Better and building up that confidence helped a lot.

Act confident , even if you are not. I also find when I am speaking to the right people the conversations flow. Sometimes if they dont flow it was never going to work to begin with.
