How to Get Her Number???

Ok,
So I'm a freshman in high school and there's this girl who's a sophomore who've I've liked since 6th grade. I've never talked to her once but I've seen her looking at me in the hallway once or twice. I pass her once in the hallway per day, but we are both going different directions. I really want to ask her number but I don't want to sound creepy. I don't know how I would approach her because I am going in different directions.
Also, she has an instagram account, but it's set to private. That is the only social media site I am not on, so I made an account in hopes of following her, but since I just made an account, I only have 10 or so followers. Would it be weird if I followed her now?

Hmm this is a tricky one because you do not talk to her on a regular basis. I say try to become friends with her first. Like get to know her better. Start off with a simple ice breaker, "hey did were we in a class together once? History?" Something to get her to think even though it might not be true. From there introduce yourself and go on from there.

Since you don't have the same classes as she does it seems, and since you're going in different directions, I think the best course of action you could take is to get to know her. The point of this is, is that so when you do ask her for your number it won't be "creepy" or "weird". Hence, your next step is to find a way to get to know her. Do you have any field trips that you may be going on that she is going on? Any electives? Maybe lunches?

If not, then I think it'd be best to follow her on Instagram and just leave her some comments, and perhaps try to talk to her on there or get to know her there. After a few days of interaction on Instagram, you could then maybe ask for her number in the hallway, and you could tell her that you are one of her followers.

It's difficult since you don't have classes with her, but I'd say this is the next best course of action, and what I would do if some of the former options weren't possible.

It is important to capture interest first! Do not let her lose interest. If she loses interest, you are smoked. You need to start by offering an appeal, whether it's good looking or smart or cool or nice. You need to be appealing. Then you must be interesting enough to last ONE conversation. If you can't last a conversation, she will most likely lose interest in you. If she loses interest, the chances of getting it back are SLIM.

1. Follow her on Instagram.

If she doesn't accept it or follow back, the odds are slim in your favor.

2. Have a good profile pic; I cannot stress that enough!

3. Post a "like for tbh and a rate" picture. If she likes it, you slide in her DM.

4. Say something along the lines of "tbh seem pretty cool/chill/ cute." whatever you want to say. "we should talk sometime." Rate 9 and and a cute emoji

5. This plan should work. It's worked for me DOZENS of times. Am I even attractive? No. The plan works a good amount of the time. If it doesn't work with this particular girl, there are plenty of others on the vast internet world.

Ask to see a movie sometime, or hangout or whatever. And give her your number so you can message her the details. Or just try to start talking with her, and once you are on a talking basis ask for her number. This way when you text her you aren't like meeting for the first time over text
