How do I do it? I don't want to hurt her feelings.

Sigh, well here is the thing, no matter how you do it, if she loves you, it is very likely it is going to her her feelings. is there any way you can possibly work out a conflict? would you be staying with her if a certain issue did not exist? if that is the case, try gently, but politely talking to her about it. if you are determined to break up regardless again, in person, gently but honestly tell her why you are breaking up. be prepared though for her to have her feelings hurt, even if you try to do it in a sensitive way

if you're certain you don't want to be with her, the best thing to do is just be up front and honest, and unless you have an honest-to-God change of heart, stick to your guns. you're going to do damage, there is no avoiding that, but the lay i described it is the best way to ensure she can heal as quickly and painlessly as possible.
