It's not often you find the person.

You know who I'm talking of. Everything you want, but nevertheless flawed. Yet somehow whenever you see them, you can't even identify one of them.
You might overlook them sometimes, but when this person catches your eye, you can't ever let go of it, that feeling, that urge to do everything in your power to create something great.

You strive to be the best you, yet you will never believe that this you, that version of you that has been birthed by this persons presence, will ever be good enough for this person. Enough to satiate the same thirst that that person had sparked within you. Sometimes you may look around seeing all the investments that you have made for this person, seeing just as clearly what you've become and however you've progressed.

This is where the waves of reality come crashing down. The swirling anguish coming from the fact that none of those feelings will be retained by this person fills your soul until it rots away your insides leaving you with an empty, purposeless shell of what you once were.

I find myself in this situation, willingly, every time I test the waters. Each shell of my former self turns into a parasite latching onto me every time I enter the water. The weight of them all drag me down until there is nothin left but a mindless robot performing the same daily routine in the place of a lively soul with the vitality of a thousand box turtles.

The twisted, cruel world we find ourselves in just beginning to explore leaves us broken and suppressing a craving for an end, one with finality as empty as the void we came from.

My only purpose in this was sharing and testing out my writing skills( ready af ). I thoroughly believe everyone can relate to this storytelling and I hope that I really am not alone in this. Share with me your story please :)
