Hi everyone.
So theres this girl that Ive liked since i was in 7th grade. Shes a year older than me. Ive never talked to her but I think she at least knows who I am. I am a freshman now and she is a sophomore. I have no idea if shes single or not. I cant find any social media for her this isnt private. I pass her once or twice in the hallway but that's about it. We don't really have enough time to strike up a conversation. The other day I saw her staring at me as we walked by, but I don't know if that's a coincidence or not.
How can I approach her without sounding too creepy or like I'm flirting.
PLEASE HELP!!!
Thanks!

If you don't want to be direct, try to find something irrelevant or a common activity to talk about.

"Hey, Umm, I heard you like (...)"

Or if you see her alone outside of school.

"Excuse me, I know you from somewhere, do you maybe go to my school?"

That's a bit of an oxymoron of a situation.

You want to be noticed yet don't want to flirt and expect to get on her radar.

The best way is to approach her with a friendly hello when you pass exchange quick pleasantries and get her name, number or email within a quick small talk conversation with a few compliments dropped in.
