it is ok to still do it. I will still do it even with straight friends. we don't strip down to just strip down (obviously esp so with straight friends) but if we are going to bed, just woke up, or whatever the reason we will hang out in our underwear. it is nothing we haven't seen before already so it is no big deal. I understand it gets a little more complicated when you may have feelings for them. in the end though it is no big deal to hang in just your underwear, at least I don't think so. obviously if you are at their house/somewhere else and they are not comfortable, that might be one thing, but esp at your house it should not be an issue. despite the feelings you have,which is understandable, it is only going to turn sexual unless someone does. having to shower nude for pe, I quickly got use to the fact it is just a shower and I don't think of that situation sexually. just try to relax and try not to focus on the fact your all in your underwear and instead focus on what you are doing

I look at it this way. We are all males, we all have the same equipment (as it were), some are bigger, some are smaller, some are hairy, some aren't hairy, some are cut and some are not cut.

Unless I am sporting a boner I don't care who sees me in my underwater. I sleep in my underwater. And I wear boxer briefs so it isn't like I am hiding anything and my friends feel the same way for the most part. We arent breaking out rulers or comparing sizes or seeing who can shoot the furthest. Dont think you are the only one who feels that way about your friends, because you arent. I feel that way too sometime, but I just keep it to myself and enjoy the time you have with them. I dont think there is a certain age when you stop being in unders around your friends, I think its just a matter of being comfortable and when that stops then things will change.

This isn't really any different from finding girls in a bikini or a top that shows some cleavage sexy. From puberty onward we start to notice other people sexually - that's natural and there is nothing wrong with that.

As long as you don't stare so obviously at people as to make them feel uncomfortable there is nothing to worry about.

As to how much or how little clothing is appropriate at any age it varies between public places and private ones. I wouldn't ever walk down the street in my underwear but when you're in a private setting then whatever those present are comfortable with is fine.

There are no ages. It's just simple. Do it so, as long as you all are comfortable with it.


Personally that's not really my thing, even if there are situations where you really does nothing else than this. Such as during summer when camping with friends (even it isn't just in underwear but shorts). So I think it's also a situational thing whether it's appropriate or not.
