I seldom value the opinions of modern society so absolutely not. What do you mean in particular by "look a certain way"?

I mean as long as I can get up, look in a mirror, and say that I am okay with how I look, that's all that matters

Well I refuse to look like the typical skinny jean, tattooed, overly masculine, works out too much, ugly shirt haircut kind of guy. I do not work out and I look better than Hot Topic models. I do not have tattoos because would you put a bumper sticker on a Ferrari? I do not want to wear skinny jeans because I want to have children and not destroy my fertility. I dress like a hipster, skater, emo because I want to.

I wear clothes that are sold as mens. I just do what I want from there onwards. The only thing I try not to do is to look stereotypically homosexual. But I'm happy with how I look and I don't really care that much what other people think.

I've started to grow my own 'fashion', I guess, wearing what I feel looks good on me. Sometimes I feel the urge to go along with what society sets as 'the trend', but this only occurs for brief seconds when I realise the trends involves looking like an absolute moron.

Not really... The only thing I do is just make yourself nice for other people (Eg: Clean, Shaved.) Just the basic stuff because your also looking after yourself when you do that. Hairstyles I find that no one wants to have what everyone else is having that's why we got the man bun trending. Because it's different to society and it stands out.

Although I do get influenced by others' style I mostly base how I want to look according to my own preferences.

Yes I do feel that way. I think because we want to look like what we think people like and unfortunately that's not always possible.
For example, I wish I had a different skin colour, like maybe darker, or at least tanned, I don't like being so white.

I am who I am and there is no changing that for anyone, regardless of how I look on the outside. I dont feel the pressure of having to conform to a certain way because of what society says. I have been taught to be myself, an individual, and not to change that to please anyone for any reason.

I absolutely do. I have the want (not the need) to fit in. I wear Vans shoes even though I prefer Converse shoes and they hurt my feet. I wear V-necks even though I fucking hate them and they aren't comfortable. I just do it to fit in, for no other reason.

I mean you can't be in tattered clothes or dirty. So I am in clean clothes. Apparel is less defining than physical attributes so, I always fuss over looking good enough or being adequate.

I always aim to try and fit in because I am quite shy sadly and do not have the confidence to stand out.

Not really. I don't make an extra effort to fit in. And some so-called 'trends' I don't like at all.

I do not in for any trends or designer things
just to fit in or b cool. Yep I do wear some
designer clothes or shoes but I wear what I
feel is comfortable for me and what I look
good in to please myself.

Because I don't have a clue about my gender, and most of the time I feel between neutral and male, I tend to dress 'androgynously' because that's when I feel more comfortable. I also find it doesn't stand out as much, so I feel more comfortable when around people because I find it difficult to deal with 'unplanned socialness'. All in all I suppose I dress how I want to, and for personal comfort.

I mean, I like being in shape and having a certain style of clothes, though it ism ore my own personal preference than anything else

I mean, I prefer to not look like garbage, but I'm not gonna say it's some profound pressure from society.

My style isn't particularly trendy or anything. It's kind of lazy. But I think it works for me, so I don't care.

I go my own way. I've never followed an appearance based trend when I've seen my peers jump on the bus. I'm really not fussed about what's 'in' or not.

On the other hand I know kids who are so commercialised they only buy one brand of clothes/shoe and stick to it like glue e.g. Jack wills, Ralph Lauren. That's crazy to me, its a waste of money and you just look like a walking poster child - free advertising.

I never dress to please anyone but myself. If someone doesn't like what I am wearing, it their opinion and won't get me to change to conform to their liking. I wear what I feel like wearing on any particular day. The only exception is dressing for school because we have a dress code about what we can wear and what we can't.

I used to feel like I had to dress a certain way throughout my middle school years, but during my 8th grade year I started to become more comfortable wearing things I really liked to wear. Now I have an assortment of different types of clothes and I don't really care all that much what society thinks. I wear what expresses me, of course in appropriate ways.

I'm non binary gender but mainly wear boyish clothes as its more accepted for females to wear "masculine clothes" but generally not accepted for males to wear"femenine" clothes.

If I felt comfortable with it, I might paint my nails, but I couldn't wear a skirt or a dress because that would make me feel really insecure.

I don't wear anything too extreme partly because I don't want to look weird and partly because my mom wouldn't let me out of the house.

Occasionally I dress for my BF because I know what he likes and what turns him on. it is because I love him I'll wear what I know he appreciates but for the most part, I dress for me. I wear what I like and I don't care what anyone else thinks. There are times I have to wear a required uniform like for cheering, swim team and volleyball but I like the way those uniforms look anyway.
