How fake is porn?

I mean they're real people having real sex right? But everyone says porn is fake. What do people mean by that?

Sex is supposed to be an intense way of displaying love - and the porn industry waters it down into nothing but cheap entertainment!

The one and ONLY reason: There are NO genuine feelings between any of the "actors". It's all about pleasure and getting paid $$, it just twists the entire emotional meaning of sex (aside of its biological purpose - *cough* procreation).

And when you've got vids with titles such as: "horny sophomore girl takes 8 at once", well, that is sufficiently self-explanatory. Don't you think? :D

The guys can't fake the orgasm cuz you can see it coming out but they prob are bored with it by now.
Also a lot of ppl say porn is bad cuz it isn't a real showing of sex. But in real life people that are in love probably don't act like porn stars in bed.

in some cases you will get couples in the industry who will do scenes together, that being said you did hit the nail on the head for the most part. porn is just showing sexual acts people can get off too. the people doing it are doing it for the pay check. the sexual acts are real, but there is so much to it we do not see and often paints a very unrealistic portrait of what sex can be like (though sometimes can be surprisingly accurate)

anyways, it is "fake" in the sense it is often scripted (literally, the sex itself is scripted), usually with people who are doing it for the money, often times those in the videos have been enhanced, and there are things which the viewer does not realize which can further contributor to those unrealistic expectations

I looked into this and actually read forum conversations that are operated by film directors, crew, and the stars.

It's actually more technical and more akin to any type of film making.

So just study film making and apply or infer that they use those same camera tricks for adult films. That's the only difference.

They say fake because of the acting. Girl or guys intentionally moan and screaming oh yes and stuff like that. Also, the move and position they use are not realistic. Real people don't have sex like they are doing gymnastic.

You have google, you have access to podcasts, go research how such films are made then you'll understand. Also don't think in absolutes, think scene by scene, edit by edit, cut by cut within the video editing process. Then like any story they're scripts and directors.

This really isn't the right place to ask such questions and expect answers.

Unfortunately per the rules I cannot link you to the sources I found regarding how the film industry works. You'll just have to find them yourself.

Porn is fake in the sense that those other variables aren't there for your everyday person, you get to say no to things you don't wanna do and aren't leveraged into doing something over a paycheck.

It's fake in that the emotions conveyed aren't real and most people can't do those things on a whim like that with strangers generally speaking, especially girls, maybe guys can but I digress.

It sets up an unrealistic expectation for the everyday girl or guy to live up too, and it warps or puts peer pressure on gender roles, and how many people expect sex to actually be like.

Like an art (fantasy) influences life via the attempted living out fantasy, and then it's just botched or someone gets hurt emotionally or physically because those things can't be done in real life.

Movie stunts are movie stunts, they're professionals for a reason whether it's an action movie or adult film.

But that's a marketing and legal thing.

Some amateur stuff is fake and heavily produced, but there is a movement going on led by young people that stems from the "pro sexting movement". So I'm talking about young people who might be adults now but began the trend of recording themselves and then posting it online somewhere.

Since then a huge chunk of young people in every succeeding generation kept that pattern going so now there are tons of porn videos of real couples but they're not nearly as professional looking, and are probably more real. But they are putting on a show still.

You also can't verify if you aren't watching something criminal though too.

Yes I meant women often get fake boobs, but there is a lot of other body work both sexes can get. plus, often in porn, they use drugs (like Viagra, etc) to enhance their performance. there is a lot of fake in porn, but that doesn't mean actual sex is not happening and some porn can be more realistic than others

What people mean b porn being fake is, sex doesnt really happen the way its portrayed in porn; sex doesnt last as long as they make it in porn, they use many different shots and stuff just to make one sex scene. One sex scene in porn can take up to 4 hours or more and many retakes just to get it right then they splice it all together to make it one movie. Theres so much more to it than what we see, so compared to what we experience in real life. . . its fake.

Exactly. Some do and some don't (as was posted earlier on page one). But I think most Porn stars do it for the money and also a lot to pay for their drug addictions). Many (but not all) of the male porn stars they have sex with are gay or bi and the girls aren't physically or romantically attracted to the guys (and vice versa).
