Hello to all who decide to read this, and yes, I apologize for the title. It's either an Adele reference of a Doctor Who reference, I've not decided yet, but it is bad either way :whoops:.

My name is Tom (or Thomas or Tommy or Tomothy or TJ to varying people) and although I've been using this website for a while, I've only just really become confident enough in myself to start replying to posts, so thought this might be a good introduction. If you have a look at some of my posts, you may notice they all seem to contain a certain length to them, and that's because I'm really bad at writing concisely, and once I've started something I find it very hard to stop (read the last paragraph for example, I suspect this post will be no different). I apologize for that, but I'm afraid it's something you're going to have to live with ;).

I'm basically 18 (birthday on Friday), studying double maths, chemistry and physics at college, and hopefully going to Warwick next year to study Maths (fingers massively crossed) so yes, I am a complete maths nerd:yeah: (don't know what that smiley is but let's go with it). After about 5/6ish years of ignoring it because I didn't want to be different, I'm now okay with the fact that I am gay, and although I am aware that basically all of my friends know (because it is amazingly obvious), I'm only out to a couple of them because it is something that I still have difficulty talking about in person. None the less, I've got to the point where I am tired of being 'out' but not actually out, so who knows, that could change soon.

Gender is a far more interesting topic with me because I do not have a clue. I would say the majority of the time, I'm very androgynous, and I aim to be with most of the clothes I wear, because it's when I'm normally most comfortable (for example I categorically refuse to wear suits, because I find them far too masculine). I think the way that I've decided to look at it, is that if I was either in a female body, or a gender neutral body, what would I be (e.g. cis/trans/other) and I think that in all of those situations, I wouldn't really care. Because of this, I'd say that I have no gender/gender neutral, however I know that my gender 'feelings' can fluctuate depending on my surroundings and feelings. Generally, I'm also very uncomfortable with how I look, but not from a gender perspective, I just don't really like my image (and hate having photos taken) but I've got to the point where I'm fine with not liking it.

In my free time, I enjoy playing badminton at my local club and sometimes at college, and I play an endless amount of games on my phone (tapped out is currently my favourite (FINALLY GOT MAGGIE!!!) sorry to people who got really confused at that statement ;)). I also watch a lot of TV and YouTube, and am amazingly good at procrastinating, e.g. I should probably either be sleeping or doing my physics c/w at the moment, but look what I'm doing instead ;). I also spend a lot of time listening to music, because I have an hour journey every day into college and I enjoy listening to music, current favourite artists are Troye Sivan, Adele, Fleur East and Years & Years. I'm also weird (in many ways but also) in the fact that I LOVE making lists and organizing things, so I have made lists of all of the music and books and DVDs in the house, and am currently waiting for the Australian Open draws to be released so I can made a spreadsheet of those (I also love tennis btw).

Well, as predicted this seems to have been an extended mis-mash of some random information about myself, and if you've made it this far, well done!! Reply of PM, either if you want to or because nothing made any sense, I love a chat about almost anything, and although I've really got no experience at all with most things, I always love to help if I can in any way :)

Yay, maths nerds! I could list endless bad maths jokes, but I think that would be a little pointless.

Anyhow, Welcome!
