View Full Version : Vagina length

I've always wondered if my vagina had a normal length. When I'm aroused, it goes to about 5 inches. Is this an average length or am I smaller than most of the other girls? Its frustrating because even if the guy has an average length, it sometimes hits my cervix if he goes too deep or if I'm not aroused enough. I just don't understand how girls can say they like long ones when I can't even fit an average one! Have you girls ever measured yourself, if so how deep were you?

How do you measure yourself?
I insert a dildo and then I measure with a ruler how much went in.

I thought our vaginas were supposed to be able to expand enough to take pretty well any penis, obviously there are going to be exceptions though. l've never measured myself but l have to agree that a penis hitting my cervix is not very comfortable.

Damn, I don't have one of those, what else can I use?

It's harder to measure vaginas than it is a penis I think due to the fact things shift around down there to some extent and then to complicate matters they stretch and that elasticity varies girl to girl, is dependent on hormone levels, mental-emotional thoughts, past trauma or great memories and last but not least genetics.
I have one friend who had trouble getting and average one down like yourself with an Ex, and then her next boyfriend was above average and then everything went smoothly for her and she to this day has no idea why.
So who knows?

Wow your sure a smart poster you really do your research and know so much!
I guess there is no accurate measurement, maybe just a round about one.

Yeah that makes a lot of sense. I find it varies from partner to partner but also each time we have sex too. Sometimes I feel like hes thicker, or sometimes he hits it and other times he doesnt. I guess it also depends on the position we are in and maybe his size also changes slightly. But yeah, who knows!

We shapeshift kinda. In fact (and i've said this elsewhere) I don't understand based on what I learned in biology- natural selection aspect of evolution, why anatomy hasn't evolved shapeshifting genitalia to a stronger degree than it already is so that there's a perfect fit every time, and then personality is all that matters in the end.

Hilarious. Don't think I'm going to ask mum for a dildo so I can measure myself inside.:)

I've never even thought to measure my "depth"
I just assumed the depth changed with possition, etc. Like how the rest of you kinda stretches

I think this is my favorite question because I'd never even thought of it before!

I went and googled MRI coitus in response to this thought provoking thread.
It's as I thought, everything moves around and it's gonna be really hard to measure.
It might be best if we just all ask our doctors how we measure if it's possible at all, because this isn't something amateurs should do.
Let's end this discussion on that note then okay?
