I've been in love for a couple of times now and I've never had the courage to ask a girl out, do you have any tips for me?

Well, I have made the mistake, too often, of not asking a girl out because I was shy; it's best to do it while you feel the way you do. Advise: Do NOT use the phrase: "will you come out with ME" or something to that effect because it makes it sounds self centred. It is much better to say something like, "are you free on XYZday" or even better: "let's go to...". The word "Let's" is good because it's in a way taking control, it no longer is a question, it shows confidence but make sure you don't come across as arrogant. From there, you can make your move... :)

Spending time with her is the best thing you can do. Just do simple things like get ice cream, a cup of coffee, or see a movie in theaters. Eventually she will invite you over her house to hang out and you can do the same. If she has the same feelings for you she will show it by holding your hand, sitting close to you, and smiling no matter what you say.

SillyShyGuy is on the right track. You should ask her to hang out, if she says yes ask her what she wants to do. If she leaves it up to you suggest a movie. If she likes you shell be fine with a movie, otherwise she might want to go somewhere else.
Once your in the movies be a gentlemen. Let her make the first move or you can try and hold her hand. DONT IMEDIATLY TRY AND MAKE OUT.

And a girl will send signs that she likes you. Shell want to sit next to you, include you in her group projects. Write notes while in class. Smile when she looks at you. So keep an eye out for are subtle hints.

I agree with this fully. Bottom line is to get to know her and get her to know you.
