just want to vent

This is my first post on this site and I hope this is in the right spot. I just wanted to vent because I have been pretty upset lately and just don't have anyone to talk to. I would usually go to my best friend about something like this but he is the reason i'm upset. He is dating the girl of my dreams and the girl I am in love with. I just don't know what to do to be happy and get over her.

honesty though, you can't really control him or the girl. if she isn't choosing you now, that doesn't mean she won't later. but expecting her to later would also be unrealistic. I say move on from her now, and if she comes up again later that's when you can deal with her. as for your friend, it depends. continue to be friends with him if he never knew what you think about this girl and stuff. if he knew and still took her, especially without talking to you, he's not the kind of friend you need.
