I am 13 and for some reason, I keep getting cranky or angry. When I was younger I was happy and cool, but now I am older and I get angry for no and don't even hang out with family. Is this due to puberty, due to hormones?

You pretty much answered the question by yourself.

Yeah mood swings are a direct result from increased hormones from the puberty cycle. you should calm down soon but just know that you can get cranky and try control it.

Aye, they do increase with puberty due to your hormones.

Most definitely exacerbated by puberty. Sometimes they can be an issue though. If they begin to torment you then it might be an idea to get it checked out.

Yep. You answered your question in the question itself. They come and go - one month you can be the most social being ever and the next month you're a cranky person. At least that's how it tends to me with me.

Yes. It is the flow of testosterone and estrogen. Your body is developing more of them and trying to find a balance for them. You will seem grumpy most of the time but that will pass. By the time you are done with high school you will be able to control that.

Yes, testosterone increases aggression, that was being part of evolutionary process of human. So that's normal if you feel like that.

Hormones will do it to you every time, dont get so wrapped up in it and lose control.
