im 14 and have been shaving my legs (and arms) for a few months now. i really prefer them shaved because it feels cleaner i guess.

anyway, next school term we are doing swimming. realistically, in a school environment, how would people react to my legs being shaved (they werent shaved last time). would it be considered "gay" and would people joke about it?

i doubt anyone will really notice unless your legs were super hairy before.

Everyone i know shaves their legs for sports be it cycling or swimming because it gives them an advantage but people couldn't really care less hair just say it for swimming.

Unless, you are super hairy then people really don't notice. Also swimming is good have nice gloom and shave. Some of my friends is clean shave and didn't care about others opinions. It is your body.

I agree with the others that people wouldn't really notice..... but if i KNEW you did it then i might find it a bit weird, you could just do it and not tell anyone

It depends on how hairy they were before. As for being gay not at all. I do think shaving your arms wasn't the best idea but that's me :)

I don't think most people will notice, but I'm sure there might be a few who would say something.

I think it depends ... if your friends have hairy legs or not. If they have hairy legs, they would notice it and say something.

Personally I don't like shaved legs or arms but I think it depends ... if your friends have hairy legs or not. If they have hairy legs, they would notice it and say something most guys I know don't shave unless they are professionals

They might notice, but they prob won't give a fuck. If they bother you about it just say it's for shaving off time for swimming.

My best (female) friend was making fun of me when I did it once, but it was nothing serious, we all found it funny :P

Yeah, unless you were super hairy before, I dont think anyone will really notice of even care. Plus I know a lot of guy friends who shave their body hair for swim team, so its no big deal.
