Discuss your thoughts on your schooling and school itself.
This can include general thoughts, opinions, etc.
I enjoy my school, while I am in the minority there the school has magnet programs that attract the attention of colleges and get children who would struggle making it into college a chance. It has many students who don't care for education dropping it down to a C, but the passionate teachers will give you an education if you ask for it. The students respect each other and I really do have to appreciate the staff for working so hard to bring it to this level.

I love being homeschooled! It's flexible for performing and I don't have to stick with everything that's taught in public school. I can arrange my lessons to fit my own learning style. However, I wish I had more of the social aspect of public school. I wish there was more homeschool programs in Michigan. Not just Christian-based.

We are being taught a huge amount of useless crap, in order to pass a useless official exam at the end of the useless year. Other than that, no complaints.

My the education part of my school was pretty bad, it was far too basic, overly repetitive, and exceedinly boring. I had to do cursinho (a one-year course that teaches everything highschool should teach) to actually have a chance at passing the entry exams for college.
On the other hand, my high school also offered a vocational course in IT, and offered a chance to get a 100% discount at a cursinho (which I got!), saved us some thousand bucks.
The college I'm in now is satisfactory. The options I have seem to be less strict and the teachers are mostly young, which us usually better. I won't complain.

My former school before I went to sixth form was absolutely abysmal. Ofsted rated it as unsatisfactory with the teaching and behaviour being highlighted as bad points. I'm so glad to be out of there, there was a lot of physical violence between students and the teachers didn't really seem to do much about it.
Now, my current school is excellent. I only do three subjects now so I can't overly assess all areas of teaching but my 7 teachers are all really good at what they do. It's a nice and relaxed atmosphere in classrooms, they seem to have a perfect balance between being chill and being a school. I really like it there and my fellow students are all really nice and I've met a lot of good people.

I was home schooled, if you want to put it generously. I'm actually quite disappointed in my experience. I was never really encouraged, and I was made to repeat the same things over and over instead of progressing and learning about things I was actually interested in. I probably would have turned out a lot better had I not been home schooled.

Besides my english class, where my teacher is a fucking bitch that hates me prolly cuz I'm white lol, its all good. My science class + teacher is dope af and my math class is pretty cool. Spanish liitttttt aaffffff basically my boolin class. But yeah, overall its pretty good, pretty chill, and a ton better than my middle school (tho in middle school classes were easier)

Being homeschooled is awesome! I take lots of online classes, so I get a bit of the social aspect, along with the deadlines and homework. I also take a few live classes where I am actually sitting at the same table with other people.
I like being homeschooled because I can really "pick" my teachers, besides my parents of course. It has less bad influences then public or private school, and is cheaper than private.
I think the reason that homeschooling has worked out so well for me is because my mom pays attention to what I am doing. If a class is too easy, I'll drop and go to the next one. If it is too hard, then I have to work through it and possibly repeat it. I am not in a charter school, so I can also have curriculums that I choose, and not them. Overall, I love it, but it isn't for everyone!

I generally love school, sure there are some people and some teachers who are a pain but most classes are exciting and I get to spend time with my friends too.

We get a better education than most schools here. We are known for better test results, we start learning languages earlier and we learn one more language.

I like my group of people at my school, and some of the teachers. I'm not your typical southern Baptist white male in my bible-belt corrupt public school. There's specific issues we have, like bullying for not meeting the typical conservative molds and stuff. And while the teachers of course can't bully us like other students do, they force upon us their beliefs. Example: the drivers ed teacher requires us to listen to KLOVE Christian radio in the car even though most people in the class aren't Christian. All in all though, our school has some advanced programs that help for college, and the teachers not forcing their beliefs and lifestyles on us are awesome!

my elementary/high school was characterized by submoronic curriculae and sharing a classroom with a bunch of knuckleheads. ended up dropping out of high school and taking the GED instead. I always sneered at these teachers who acted like they were distinguished luminaries and founts of vast knowledge *makes 30k a year*
made quite a few friends and acquaintances though. I mainly hung out with the bouncyball players because they were the normalest/least repulsive (stuck out like a sore thumb in that crew tho :lol3: )

one of my teachers told me I shouldn't sleep at school because every teacher there was an expert on their field and could vastly improve my knowledge 🙄
