I know this sounds really stupid but i'm 15 male and really skinny. I am 5'9" which isn't that tall but i have really long legs and a really skinny waist. Im pretty sure my waist is 27 in and i require about 32in length. I can never find clothes that fit me and always have pants that are too short or are extremly wide. I need to know how to get a bigger waist. my goal is getting to 30in waist. I don't know if i need to gain muscle or fat, or how to even do this.

you should try and gain both muscle and fat (muscle on its own looks bad imho)
just try eating more (but not too much) and lower the amount of aerobic exercise you do (but not completely)

try building up ur muscle by doing jackknives or lifting something (like literally it doesnt matter what it is like i use my mums ankle weights lmao)

or get a gym membership or something

Adam is dead on. try eating more, but not junk food, that is the wrong kind of eating.Try searching google for a good diet which contains a lot of vitamins, carbs etc.

At the same time try working out. do exercises (you can just do these at home) adam described (you can google some good exercises. getting more muscles doesn't happen in a week (Yeah i got the spam mail as well), it takes time. as you train more you should make it more difficult (use more weight or do more reps), but don't over do it.

What happens when you work out is your muscles get little tears in them (which hurts the next day). your body repairs these tears and ads some muscles tissue, hence your muscles grow. if you don't take some rest these tears won't repair and you can get injuries

I am in no way an expert btw. you can always message me if you have any questions

I think the best and easiest thing is to just eat more but not excessively of course. I think gaining muscle might be a little too time consuming and might possible even make you lose any weight that you could have put on. I'm really not sure though TBH

agreed. however we as people are all born a specific way. most of the time we can't change our physical attributes. i have a couple of cousins with the same issue as you. no body is perfect, so do not be sad if these tips don't produce your preferred result.

I was all bone & skin till I was 15 or so despite that a bit of love handle pinched by my GF made me go on a diet too...Then she insisted that I put on a bit..So I let go of it and just hit on all food hard...Junk or healthy...

Initially pounds were slow but when it started I steadily gained....
Now by 17 I've gone from 48kg to 66kg and waist have gone from 26'' to 35''....giving my former stick body a well rounded butt and a sizable tummy roll too.....Still I'm very sensitive to weight and comments make me go beet red..I keep a top on whn I'm with known ppl...In unkonwn beaches I don a speedo and get to water..Cos nobody knows I was damned skinny..
I love my body now..clothed I look better, fuller and stronger....

Downside is cos I was never sporty type my ''skinny-fat'' body is all fat & bone so is actually softer than my GFs...my hairless body has no definition.......And now my endurance has dropped and I huff'n puff stairs...I hate PE cos I sweat more now....Freshman weight in college is sure to make be chubby like my dad....many say..

So pounds will come sooner or later and its easier than u think...Eat much...Keep yourself active and work out..

Some times it's metabolism, which lets us digest food easily. I am skinny and I have a fast metabolism., but if you want more skin, do exercise or just eat protein food.

I'm the same. My dad said our bodies are a hot mess during puberty with all the hormones and changes. We have to wait a while before we get swole. Muscle will burn fat and make you thinner. If you want to wear bigger pants do lots of squats. Get dat big booty!!! xD

This. There's not a lot you can do! Puberty wins. Eating a ton more won't likely do much. You're metabolism is just like always on. You can try eating a bit more and working out. That will never hurt. Just don't expect much. Tbh your measurements sound almost perfect. I'm 5'10'-5'11 30 inch waist and 32 in inseam. That's not much different than you. The one thing you may consider is protein shakes. Not inexpensive tho.

I'm at the same wall as you, but perhaps as time goes on you will just grow into what you want.

I am in the same situation as you. I am 6 ft tall and skinny with pants length of 32 inches. I cannot shop at stores like Hot topic, american eagle, or zumez and other dumb stores because they only make pants for Hobbits and short people. Just do what I do: drink energy drinks or a lot of coffee to boost your metabolism and eat a lot of food. I always eat twice or three times normal serving sizes when I have a meal because my metabolism rocks. But eat junk food or at least proteins like meat and nuts.
