In my scenario, I liked my best friend too. I just tried to think of the consequences of liking her: our friendship/relationship would break up. Eventually after a week I started to move on. That was how I did it though, might not work for you idk...

Yes I love Sam we are so much alike but no i don't find it inconvenient that he's my best friend u can ask as much as you want btw Ill try to answer to the best of my abilities

Oh I guess you could bring it up in conversation.
Best friends can be confusing, they can be intimate and yet not be into you or they're not intimate and they are, aahh it's so confusing. Frankly, in my opinion you, I always believe that the truth works best. If you think he would take it well, tell him how you feel and if he is your best friend I'm sure he would understand, and you could work it out together. This is why best friends are best friends, they know you better than you know yourself lol.

If you can't tell him and if you don't think it's likely anything will to happen, it sounds a bit pessimistic but try to get over him as quickly as possible, you shouldn't like someone if you're nearly certain nothing is going to happen. It's easier said than done, I know. I liked a girl for 11 months only to be rejected, but I should have listened to my friends and tried to get over her sooner... You will find a way!
