So I love my best friend as a brother. I have two different pictures of us on my lock screen and home screen on my phone. People keep saying that's weird. I do have a crush on him but that not the reason why I want his picture as my home a no lock screen. Like I said we are like brothers. Is this weird or is this ok. I need some advice.

This is perfectly fine to me. People here have photos with their friends on the main/lockscreen all The time. I wouldn't stress too much and just do what you want to do :)

I guess most people think it's weird because not many boys do this but to me it's perfectly fine. You shouldn't care about the people questioning it.

It's fine. He's your friend and that's your mobile. Whichever picture looks nice to you on your lock screen/home screen is for you to choose. People do that a lot here.

Yeah I agree with the others, it's not a bad thing at all. I've had pictures of my friends with me on my lock screen plenty of times. Don't worry about what people think! If they keep criticizing your choices, you're doing something right! :)

If you want to have a picture with your friends, go for it.
If you want to have a picture of you with a fancy car or whatever you're into, go for it.
Heck, if you want to set your background as a VS model, go for it.
Point being there's nobody to tell you that your background is or isn't "okay". It is your phone after all. My backgrounds vary immensely - right now I have the Koenigsegg Regera (A million-dollar supercar) on my phone. Last was a picture of my girlfriend and I under a big christmas tree. Before that was my family.

There is a very important life lesson to be learned here: you shouldn't ever put too much care into others' opinions about you.

If anyone says it's weird, be proud of your best friend and say something like "I don't think it's weird. He's like a brother to me. "

Be proud of that and spread that positive outlook to everyone else.

This reminds me of something, the other day some creep walked up to a girl in the street and harassed her into taking a selfie with him, before going back to his girlfriend. It was really weird :/

In terms of the OP's question, I agree with all that has been said. Give it a few years and everyone will have matured enough to not care what you have as a pic.

the only people who should care about it are you and your friend

Sounds fine to me. Your lockscreen/home screen shouldn't offend anybody who isn't a total jerk.

as long as you and your friend are okay with your relationship, why should it matter if someone else is too ignorant to understand?

There's nothing wrong with having a picture of you and another male on your phone. It's your life. It's your choice.

I agree. It may not be common for most boys to do such a thing, but theres no problem with it as far as Im concerned. What other people think or say isnt really your problem, its theirs. You have to do you for you and not anyone else.
