They were silent, my dad I know was cool with it, but mom was shocked. After she dropped me off in my dorm room, she looked in the wrong bag and saw a box of condoms, I had just bought a few hours before.

I'm not sure how she found out or if she really knew. But she sat us down one weekend and had the mother daughter "talk"...sooooo much fun that was. : ) on occasion she will ask if everything is "ok". Mom's are very good at stuff like that. I know she loves me...but it's kinda weird talking to her about it...ya know?

My parents are keenly aware. I straight up told my dad because I trust him and he's really chill about everything. He basically said that whenever I need, I can take a few dollars from his wallet to buy protection. My mom, though... She knows, but I'm not really sure she likes the idea much. My mom is the only one who knows about my sex life and she kinda figured it out on her own by some of the things that I was doing and the one person I was hanging out with.

When she was sure, she had a talk with me about it and asked me questions about my being safe, if I was in a relationship, and stuff like that. Then she told me she wasnt happy that I was having sex at such a young age, but there wasnt much she could do about it, so for me to just be careful and take care of myself.

So, she was pretty cool about it, and we both promised never to tell my dad.

I think with mine there wasn't really one event, just a growing suspicion until it kind of became obvious and presumed. My mom asked me if I was using protection and continuing to take B/C. Otherwise not a lot really changed to be honest.

I know my mom had a suspicions, but there wasn't a moment where she found something or (god forbid) saw something. After a while, when I was pretty sure she knew, I asked her about starting on birth control and while it probably made her a bit uncomfortable she agreed and talked to me about it.

Dad- was proud and happy told me to safe and not get anyone pregnant (it happened a few times though)

Mom- shocked that her baby was growing up

But now my house is so chill i literally can have and has had sex on the couch and been seen by my parents and they didn't say anything (so many other situations like that are common)

My mum discovered I was sexually active when she walked in on me and my then girlfriend. She has told me that I should never be afraid or embarrassed about sex and that she trusts me to make the right decisions regarding sex. I think my dad also knows I'm sexually active but I've never discussed anything remotely sexual with him.
