Facial hair stuff

Strange question but basically there's this guy at my school who had this bushy moustache and he had it for quite a while. But the thing is it just stayed like that for the two years he had and it didn't seem to grow and I know he didn't do anything to it. But then he started shaving and it would literally grow back in two weeks. So can anyone explain?

I can relate to that i guess. After shaving it takes one day to see the hair growing back. and within a week to two weeks it starts itching and i shave it off.

It started slow and the growth was slow but once i started shaving it grew pretty fast.

The wired thing i guess is that it stayed the same for two years i find this strange too. maybe he have been cutting it and keeping it the same as part of a style he was going for

There's a point where it can't actually grow anymore at that time so it just stays the same. Over time, more might start to grow as he progresses through puberty...
