Yep, pretty much accurate. Only you can decide what's "weird", and the entire concept of "weird" is a social construct anyway. Do whatever helps you get it done. No need to go running around saying that x-y-and-z porn gets you off. Just do what you need to do and move on. It's only a preference

It is fine that our imaginations have greater scope than our bodies and we can get aroused by things that don't exist, are impossible in practice or which, even though possible, would not to be sensible to do or easily available. It is also not uncommon for people to get aroused by inanimate things such as items or apparel (called a fetish).

What I would caution is to include a bit of variety. You don't want to condition yourself to be turned on only, or primarily, by a fantasy that can't happen. The same applies to porn watching in general, though.
