Since the last thread got bumped and then locked let's start this again.

How many people are in your immediate family?
Members are in the poll above.

Answer the poll and then post below! Are you a younger/older sister or brother? Do you get on well with your family?

My info:
I live with my mom, dad and sister who is 21.
I have 2 female cousins, aged 18 and 17, and 3 male cousins, aged 19, 23 and 27.
I have 2 uncles and 3 aunts.
I have only one grandad, his wife (my grandma) unfortunately passed away 4 weeks ago.

I live with my mother, father and twin sister.
I have around 26 cousins (ranging from infants to adults with kids themselves), 7 aunts and one uncle.
My maternal grandparents are still alive, but my paternal grandpa died before I was born.

I get along with my sister the best, then my dad, and finally my mom. We have a rocky relationship, but we still love each other. Sometimes, I wish I could've had more than one sibling. The lack of older siblings has resulted in me not having any person to look up to throughout my childhood, which I'm not sure is a good thing or a bad thing. It is what it is.

I want to make this clear - sorry if any of these questions are a little personal, you don't have to answer them if you don't want to.

Just wondering why do your mom and dad live separately? If you got to choose why did you choose to go with your dad?

Its just Mom, dad and me
Do you wish you had any older or younger brothers or sisters?

It's just me and my mom.
Do you wish you had any siblings, and have you found it difficult not living with your father? Do you still have contact with him but not just live with him? Has he passed away (if he has I'm very sorry..)

26 cousins!!! Wow. What is the distribution like (male vs female)?
I also wish I had another sibling, perhaps an older brother to talk through things with..
My older sister has been there for me, but now we just play around.

As my previous post, don't worry you don't have to answer if you don't want to.
- How old is your brother compared to you? Has he told you why he moved away? Roughly how far away is he?

Hmm, let's see.
Eleven females (ages 15, 15, 2, 1, 4, 24, 19, 21, 29, 32, 20).
Twelve males (ages 20, 1, 22, 34, 30, 25, 21, 4, 3, 12, 27).

So it's 23 instead of 26, I was mistaken. :P

he's 5 years older than me, and he is about 700 miles away

my mom and I moved (to be closer to her parents and because she had a good job offer) and my brother decided to stay in the area where he was going to college

adventitious my halfsister is 20 and has her own house now that she shares with one of her close friends. We have different dads and she's never been to see my dad since she was about 6.

Some of them live in places like New York, Stockholm, Paris, Dubai, Caracas, Melbourne, London and they don't visit us regularly at all. It's a bit sad when you think about it, but I'll always treasure the memories. But of the ones living in Lebanon, I see them pretty often.

Roughly how many of them live in Lebanon? I've seen that Dubai is only a 3.5hr flight away from Lebanon, do you go to see them often?

Around thirteen (seven males and six females) live in Beirut/Mount Lebanon. I make the trip to Dubai around twice a year, so I do get to see them more often than the other ones living abroad. I've never actually visited any of the cities mentioned above, with the exception of Dubai.

Ugh. Where do I begin on this?

1) They had an abusive marriage from what they both have told me. I don't know exactly what happened to trigger their divorce since it went on for 13 years. All I can remember was that my mom was sleeping on the couch a month prior to them telling me.

2) I originally lived with mom after the divorce for 3 years. Me and her didn't get along at all due to our different lifestyles so I moved out in October. Me and my dad have similar lifestyles so it's pretty easy to live with him.

at this point in my life...? No. It's pretty clear that my parents only intended to have one child...or maybe none at all, but I happened anyways.
I do get along really well with my cousin...I spend alot of time over at his house, and him over here, etc etc...he is like a brother to me.

They live in another city and my uncle has always had problems with the family and my grandmother smokes so much I can barely even stand to be in her home. She's not mobile so she can't visit us. So, like I said, just me and my mum.

Too fuckin many. I have eight siblings, my parents, my grandma, and an aunt and uncle.

I'm the youngest, and we get along okay. I fuckin hate a few of them, and I'm sure they hate me too, but we can be in a room together without fighting. A few of them I get along with very well; they're my best friends.

Live with both parents, have one brother and one sister (both over two years younger)
My paternal grandpa is a total dick so we never see him. He left his wife (my dad's mom) when she got cancer and my dad and him still aren't on good terms.
My maternal grandma is the best. She lives 1000 miles away but she's still my favorite extended family member
