Hey I'm wesley and I'm 15. I'm having trouble getting a girlfriend. I don't know what's going wrong. I'm 6 ft athletic built most girls say I'm pretty attractive. I'm a star basketball player with a school offers. I have goals and do good in school. I try to be funny and interesting but I'm really shy and can't really talk to girls and when I do they quickly lose interesting and it's a horrible cycle of finding a girl trying to talk to her and her losing interest. I would like some tips on how to get a girl because I know I'll treat her like a queen. Also even though the girls on this forum are very open and seem to have a sexual life and a very good one on fact. In the real world it's very very hard to find a girl I can be sexually active with

Have you ever had a girlfriend before? It is normal. I did not get my first girlfriend until my last year of high school. I would say think about which girls you are closest to. Who do you spend the most time with and who knows you well? From there look at which girls you would have a chance at dating. Just be yourself. It is better to be rejected than to wonder if you ever had a shot. I would rather lose a friend over wanting to date, than be friends with someone who would never be open minded to the idea of dating. One of my fake friends agreed to going on a date with me and then went out with another guy. Start off asking out friends first, then move on to other girls. There is a girl for you out there.

Well, I'm sure you'll find a girl sooner or later. Just don't become a complete douche trying to get a girlfriend. It's better to wait untill you find the right girl instead of rushing it. Tips on getting a girl? Br patient. If they loose their interest so fast they may not be the right girl.

Yeah second opinion to a lot of these. Chances are that if you're being yourself (so long as you're not being brash or too forward) and they're not lasting, they probably aren't the right girls. In all honesty, Wesley, you're 15. I'm coming up on 18 and didn't start dating until 16. And I regret even doing that. I really started almost entirely on peer pressure - all my friends were dating so I had to keep up. The result was going too deep too fast into a relationship with someone who frankly wasn't worth half of what I put in. Give it some time. High School isn't all about having a girlfriend. She'll come to you in due time

Thanks man. I just miss being in a relationship that's all haha because all my friends are in one. I'm not doing it because of that though. I just wanna overall increase my confidence and social skills as well

When a guy tells me he will "treat me like a queen" that's a major turn off.
I'm a person, not an object. I don't want someone to dote over me, or worship me, or stick me on some pedestal.
It sounds like girls aren't responding to you because you aren't showing them your real personality. Talk about things you like. Ask them about things they like. And if you aren't into the same things then that's ok. Respect those differences.
Also, don't brag so much. You mentioned you're a "star basketball player". If you have to advertise those types of achievements that means you are really really insecure.
Sorry if this is harsh.
