There is a girl I sit next to in my math class whi is very cute. We talk very often and get along very well. We are in an awkward stage where we are more than aquintances but a little less than friends. I feel it would be kind of weird to ask her to hang out alone. What should I do?

I think the best way to do so is through texting or social networks, if it is kind of weird to ask her to hang out then go a step lower and ask for her number, or for her name in any social network or place to chat (whatsapp, Facebook, BBM, Skype, etc). Talk through her there, try to talk frequently, and then you will get closer to her.

You should become friends with her before trying to ask her out. Once you get to know her better, you can ask her out in person. If you ask her out in person rather than sending a text, it makes you appear much more confident. Good luck!
